2026 opens with a clear statement from Kevlinx Data Centers: BRU01 in Brussels is ready. Fully built, fully tested and fully energized, the site is now operational and available for customers to run workloads immediately. What started as a response to the growing demand for AI-ready and high-density infrastructure has been delivered as a live data center, ready to support production environments from day one.

Designed for today’s compute reality and tomorrow’s growth, BRU01 delivers 16 MW of IT capacity today in its first phase, with a clear expansion path toward 32 MW and a long-term campus potential of 65 MW. This allows organizations to scale over time within a single location, without redesigning architectures or relocating critical infrastructure as requirements evolve.

BRU01 also sets a new benchmark for rack density in Belgium. While many data centers were built for traditional IT workloads with limited power demand per rack, BRU01 was engineered specifically for modern compute. Customers can deploy up to 60 kW with air cooling and 150+ kW per rack with liquid cooling, enabling AI, high-performance computing and large-scale data processing to run natively and without compromise.

Just as important is where these workloads now run. By hosting advanced compute locally, organizations retain control over their data, operations and compliance. BRU01 makes infrastructure sovereignty tangible, keeping critical data within Belgian and European jurisdiction while reducing dependency on extra-territorial platforms.

Sustainability is embedded throughout the design, with high-density-optimized cooling, modular expansion, renewable-ready power sourcing and future heat recovery integrations. This positions BRU01 among the most efficient new-build data center campuses in Europe.

With BRU01 officially Ready for Service, customers can onboard immediately. The initial 16 MW powered shell is available, including 4 MW of fully fitted-out IT capacity, marking the start of a campus built to scale alongside next-generation workloads.
